Our Counsellors
All who counsel/teach under our name must have:

* a relevant and current qualification
* a commitment to ongoing education
* ongoing supervision by an industry recognised/qualified suprvisor
* current registration with a recognised counselling body
* a current Blue Card positive notice (as required)
* current public liability and professional indemnity insurance

Our counsellors are committed to working with the whole person; mind, body, spirit and emotions
They will respect cultural differences, and will not be discriminatory with relationship status, political persuasion and religious or spiritual beliefs
They will provide a safe environment and a professional relationship for counselling

Wayne Scott QMACA, CertIVTrain&Assess,

Wayne has many years of practical "real world" life experience, is married to Pam. He has been a pastor for more than twenty years.
Wayne has an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy and Cert. IV in Workplace Training and Assessing.
He is a Qualified Member of the Australian Counselling Association; Australia's peak professional body for counsellors.
Some of Wayne's experience has been in Pastoral oversight of churches in NSW and Queensland, Chaplaincy work within Correctional Institutions in NSW and Queensland. He has worked with those involved in occult activity, the biker scene and amongst men from all walks of life. His passion is to come alongside families, couples and individuals who want to make a better go of this thing called "life". He has a particular desire to journey with those who are suffering from or affected by depressive illness.

Pam Scott QMACA, CertIVTrain&Assess

Pam, also, has many years of practical life skills that she desires to share with those who may be struggling.
Married to Wayne, they have two grown children and one beautiful ganddaughter.
Pam has an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy, Cert. IV in Workplace Training and Assessing,.
She is a Qualified Member of the Australian Counselling Association; Australia's peak professional body for counsellors.
Pam has been an integral part of the life, work and ministry of Wayne as well as having very strong areas of work and ministry focus herself. Pam has worked for well over twenty years in the Aged Care Industry and has a wonderful ability to come alongside and encourage women, young and old, from all walks of life.
Pam has first-hand experience in the many facets of family which include the struggles associated with surviving a loved one's major depression.
Her warmth and gentleness are greatly appreciated by her clients.
